Replacing multiple teeth

When multiple teeth are missing, a significant loss of jawbone and drifting of neighboring teeth can take place. This means that the gap between the remaining teeth should be quickly filled not only for aesthetic, but also for functional reasons. Each case requires an individual approach in what concerns the number of the implants to be placed in the jaw. Missing teeth are often replaced with implant fixed partial dentures (implant bridges). The advantage of implant bridges is that they allow to avoid grinding of adjacent healthy teeth. In most cases they fit tightly to the gums and therefore present the best option from the aesthetic point of view.
