How is the implant treatment performed?
First come a thorough diagnostic examination and a detailed treatment plan elaboration. After these stages are finalized, implants are imbedded into the patients jawbone in the course of an outpatient surgical procedure performed under local or general anesthesia. During the recovery period, the bone fuses tightly with the implant, thereby creating a stable base for a dental prosthesis. While the bone is healing, the gap between the teeth is filled with an aesthetic temporary denture, until time comes to install a permanent denture. In rare cases a permanent denture can be placed immediately after implantation.
